Axel is having so much fun this year at the river. We have been a couple of times.
He even enjoys being tossed high up in the air by Daddy.
The water is really shallow at Bridgeport, so Axel can touch in a large area. He has little fear when it comes to running around and dunking himself in.
He also really enjoyed playing in the sand with Grandpa.
I think he realized that he has sand at home that is trying to be as cool and fun as this beach.
As I have said before, we love the river. This river is where Axel's middle name comes from. This summer is proving to be what we hope it will be for many years to come - our outlet and escape from all things hot and sticky.
